RIVER x ERIC®：t-shirt-AK-47-1-350414

【Design Concept】
My fashion brand "RIVER x ERIC®" has started selling a limited quantity of trendy T-shirts for Spring/Summer 2024 on our official website and Shopee. This particular T-shirt design features an "AK-47," and the image shows an angry little girl with blonde hair clutching an AK-47 rifle. The juxtaposition of a young girl with an AK-47 rifle highlights a stark and powerful contrast.

The inspiration for this design stems from recent political turmoil in Taiwan, where a minority were manipulated as pawns by political parties and politicians to protest in the streets. Among them were girls not yet in elementary school, led by their parents, barely able to speak yet voicing their dissent and protesting publicly.

How absurd and foolish is it to involve innocent children in political machinations? How can the world stand by and allow children to be used as tools for political ends? These events in Taiwan prompted me to create the "AK-47" design.

Does this not mirror the ugly wars fought under the guise of false justice in other countries and regions of the world? Have we not learned from history, only to let the same pains and conflicts repeat themselves over and over again? Is this humanity's fate?

I am curious and have incorporated my perspective and thoughts into my brand "RIVER x ERIC®."
